What Forge processes

Forge processes the portrait you choose, your onboarding profile, baseline report, plan activity, consent record, support-chat messages, subscription status and purchase lifecycle events, and limited product events needed to operate and improve the service. Forge does not use the portrait to identify you and does not provide medical diagnosis.

Portrait processing

The Forge API validates your selected portrait, reads it into memory, and deletes the temporary upload from Forge storage before requesting analysis from our third-party AI provider, Kie.ai. If a server interruption prevents that immediate deletion, an automated crash-recovery cleanup removes leftover temporary uploads within 24 hours.

Kie.ai processes the portrait to return the requested report. Its own processing, security, and retention practices are controlled by Kie.ai and may differ from Forge's temporary-upload lifecycle. Forge cannot promise immediate deletion from a third-party provider's systems. The app asks for explicit consent before this transfer.

Stored data

Forge stores an anonymous installation identifier, consent version, raw scores kept server-side, calibrated display scores, report, plan, task state, support-chat sessions and messages, RevenueCat App User ID and subscription events, and non-sensitive product events. Support conversations are used to preserve context inside the current chat; the app does not provide a past-conversation history screen. The API does not retain a portrait URL. Progress photos are stored on your iPhone only when you opt in; device backup behavior is controlled by the app and your Apple settings.

Purchases

Apple processes App Store payments. RevenueCat processes purchase receipts, entitlement status, restore activity, and subscription lifecycle events so Forge can provide and recover paid access. Deleting Forge data removes the linked RevenueCat customer profile but does not cancel an Apple subscription; subscriptions must be managed through Apple.

Your controls

You can use Delete My Data in Forge Settings to remove server data tied to the anonymous installation. Use Delete My Data before uninstalling Forge: uninstalling alone may leave the Keychain installation token and the server data associated with it. Forge does not sell personal data. Security and age

Forge uses authenticated installation tokens and transport security. The service is intended only for adults age 18 or older.
